UK Lifestyle Consumer Research & Leads

In-house lifestyle surveys · UK contact centres

Consumer data gathered the long way round — one conversation at a time.

UK Lifestyle writes and runs its own consumer lifestyle surveys. Every record we supply began as a recorded telephone conversation with a named UK adult who agreed to hear from a supplier — not a list bought in, scraped or re-sold three times over.

  • Questionnaires written around your qualifying criteria, not ours
  • Double-qualified leads: agent-verified, then screened before release
  • Exclusive leads on request — supplied once, to one buyer
  • Delivered in real time by HTTP POST, SFTP or scheduled CSV

TPS & CTPS screened before dialling · Call recordings retained for 12 months · 48-hour replacement window

There is no rate card — cost per lead depends on how tight your filters are. Email us the brief and you will get costs, a realistic daily volume and a sample record, usually the same working day.

  • The product you need — leads, data or research
  • Your qualifying criteria, and the disqualifiers
  • The daily volume your floor can genuinely work
  • Exclusive or capped-share
  • Your FCA firm reference, for regulated products

Enquiries are read Monday to Friday, 9.00am–5.30pm. We reply to every one, including the ones we cannot help with.

What we supply

Six things clients buy from us most often

Everything below comes out of the same survey operation. The difference between products is the question set, the qualifying filters and how quickly the record reaches you.

01

Life insurance leads

Age, cover type, smoker status, existing policy and mortgage position captured on the call. Supplied to FCA-authorised firms and their appointed representatives only.

Criteria & fields →
02

Funeral plan leads

Over-50s prospects who have asked to discuss a pre-paid plan, qualified for age band, decision maker status and best time to call. Appointment setting available.

Criteria & fields →
03

Boiler & heating leads

Homeowner-verified, with boiler age, fuel type, property type and replacement timescale. Grant-eligibility questions can be added to the script.

Criteria & fields →
04

Private medical insurance

Higher-volume PMI enquiries, available as data or as a warm transfer straight to your sales floor while the prospect is still on the line.

Criteria & fields →
05

Consumer data supply

Selections drawn from our lifestyle survey file by age, region, tenure, income band and the survey questions the respondent actually answered.

06

Bespoke campaigns

Your questions, your filters, your delivery format. Useful when a standard product does not match your underwriting rules or your regional footprint.

Why the survey route

A list tells you someone exists. A survey tells you what they want.

Most consumer files in circulation are compiled — assembled from lifestyle questionnaires filled in years ago, competition entries, or data traded between brokers until nobody can say where the original permission came from. It is cheap, and it behaves like it: poor contact rates, high opt-out volumes and an evidence trail you would not want to show a regulator.

We took the slower route. We write the questionnaire, we make the calls, and we keep the recording. When you ask why a particular person is on your dialler, we can tell you the date, the agent, the question they answered and the words they used to agree to it.

That does two useful things. It keeps your marketing defensible under UK GDPR and PECR, and it means the person who picks up already remembers saying yes — which is most of the difference between a cold call and a conversation.

From script to sales floor

How a lead reaches you

01

Questionnaire built

We agree the qualifying questions, the disqualifiers and the consent wording with you, then brief and script the floor. Nothing goes live until you have signed off the wording.

02

Survey runs

Screened data is loaded to the dialler and UK-based agents run the survey. Calls are recorded in full, including the permission statement at the end.

03

Second-stage check

A quality team re-checks every positive against your criteria and listens to a sample of recordings daily. Records that fail are held back rather than shipped.

04

Delivered

Leads post to your CRM in real time, land on your SFTP, or arrive as a scheduled CSV. Live transfers come straight through to your sales line.

Who we work with

Sectors we run surveys for

We supply brands direct, and we supply the agencies and brokers who buy on their behalf. If your sector is not listed, ask — the survey operation is the same, only the script changes.

Buying for the first time?

Most new clients start with a small test batch over a fortnight so both sides can measure contact rate and conversion before committing to a daily volume. We would rather do that than sell you a big file that sits unworked.

Common questions

Before you ask us for a price

Are the leads exclusive to us?

They can be. Exclusive leads are supplied once, to one buyer, and never re-offered — these carry a higher cost per lead. Shared leads are capped at a stated number of buyers, and that cap is written into the contract rather than left vague. Tell us which model you want and we will price both.

What happens if a lead does not match the criteria we agreed?

Raise it within 48 hours of delivery with the record reference and we will pull the call recording. If the record is genuinely out of criteria, or the number is unobtainable on three attempts across different times of day, we replace it. We do not credit leads for not converting — that one is on the script and your sales floor, and we are happy to look at both with you.

Can you prove the consent behind a record?

Yes. Every survey call is recorded in full and held for 12 months, and each record carries the campaign reference, agent ID and timestamp needed to retrieve it. Where a data subject or the ICO asks about a specific record, we will supply the recording and the consent wording that was read out. See the compliance page for the detail.

What volume can you commit to?

It depends on the product and how tight the filters are. Broad propositions such as boiler replacement or TV and broadband can run at high daily volume; narrow underwriting criteria — a specific age band, region and cover amount — will reduce it. We will quote a realistic daily figure rather than the best day we ever had.

Do you sell insurance leads to anyone?

No. Insurance-related leads go only to firms authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, or to their appointed representatives, and we check the FCA register before the first delivery. We are not an insurance intermediary and we do not advise on financial products.

How are we billed?

Cost per lead for lead generation, cost per thousand records for data selections, and a day rate for bespoke survey work. Invoices are raised weekly or monthly against a delivery report that lists every record supplied, so the count is auditable on both sides. Standard terms are payment within 14 days.

Tell us what a good lead looks like to you

Send us your criteria and the volume you can work, and we will come back with cost per lead, realistic daily availability and a sample record you can put in front of your team.
